Stitching operator wanted in Tippecanoe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
