Shakeout operator • Benton County, Missouri

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Benton County, Missouri. Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
