Backhoe operator — Hertford County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Hertford County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Your main tasks: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
