Mechanical press operator — Saint Bernard Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
