Vacancy available: we are hiring a combi boiler installer in DeWitt County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Six days a week, one day off.
