Ceiling and wall plasterer — Ionia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Ionia County, Michigan. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Your main tasks: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic 2+ years on the tools preferred.
