Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Menard County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
