Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based in a tool room. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
