Press setter operator wanted in Valencia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Valencia County, New Mexico. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Full-time with occasional weekends.
