Rigging foreman • Montour County, Pennsylvania

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Montour County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
