Site safety steward — Hancock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Hancock County, Ohio. The role involves investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
