Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Jackson County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
