Bulldozer operator — Dane County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Dane County, Wisconsin. The job is in an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 2+ years on the tools preferred.
