Fabrication workshop technician — Hempstead County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges The role involves crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals.
