Sample machinist — Nnewi North

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Nnewi North, Anambra State. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Rotating shifts.
