Cook — Clarke County

Join our team: we are hiring a cook in Clarke County, Virginia. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Day to day you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
