Bricklayer wanted in Brunswick County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Brunswick County, North Carolina. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
