Port container crane operator — Summers County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Summers County, West Virginia. You will be based on a busy construction site. You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
