Conventional mill operator — Uintah County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Uintah County, Utah. You will work in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
