Event security steward — Polk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an event security steward in Polk County, Oregon. You will monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes. Ideal candidate: • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • 1-2 years experience as a security guard Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
