Shuttering carpenter — Scott County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Scott County, Minnesota. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Six days a week, one day off.
