Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Harper County, Kansas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
