Gypsum plasterer • Lamar County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Lamar County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. You will mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads. Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Full-time, day shift. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
