Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Rockbridge County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
