Prep cook — Municipal Area Council

Great opportunity: we are hiring a prep cook in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen On a typical shift you will keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch.
