Core maker wanted in Douglas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Douglas County, South Dakota. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
