Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Flathead County, Montana. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
