Vacancy available: industrial sewing operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Wythe County, Virginia. You will work at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line.
