On a typical shift you will seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue; check best-before and expiry dates on every box; separate rejects and re-pack faulty units; record production counts on the shift sheet. You should have: • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
