Fusing press operator wanted in Hockley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Hockley County, Texas. You will be based in a garment export house. Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time with occasional weekends.
