Elevator service technician — Wokingham

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Wokingham, England. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. £115 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
