Stamping press operator — Brantley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Brantley County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Six days a week, one day off.
