Solid plasterer • Berkshire County, Massachusetts

Vacancy available: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Day to day you will apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
