Argon welding operator wanted in Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Jackson County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
