Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Badagry, Lagos State. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
