Head baker — Hall County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Hall County, Texas. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
