Groundskeeper — Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Montgomery County, Alabama. You will work in a public park. You will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Full-time with occasional weekends.
