Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Six days a week, one day off.
