Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Labette County, Kansas. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
