The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Rotating shifts.
