Urgent requirement: stitching operator (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Des Moines County, Iowa. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
