Metal caster — Chariton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Chariton County, Missouri. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Rotating shifts.
