Coating plant operator — West Lothian

Great opportunity: we are hiring a coating plant operator in West Lothian, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Willing to work shifts and overtime 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £13 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
