Lorry driver wanted in Loudon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lorry driver in Loudon County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day to day you will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
