Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Owsley County, Kentucky. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills On the job you will handle: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
