Press shop operator — Minjibir

Join our team: we are hiring a press shop operator in Minjibir, Kano State. You will be based at a busy press shop. You will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₦1,600 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
