Machine operator (earthworks) — Sir Powys

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Sir Powys, Wales. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites The role involves load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels.
