Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. On the job you will handle: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
