Gas service engineer — Aguata

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Aguata, Anambra State. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
