Press shop operator — Dale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Dale County, Alabama. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 2+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
